about

I'm a software engineer in windy and beautiful Chicago city.

I graduated with a Masters degree in computer science from Michigan Tech University. I worked on Sketch recognition for my thesis; I also worked on an anonymous electronic voting protocol for online elections with about 10k participants.

I am a contributor to the java-gnome project.

I mostly use GNU/Linux distributions, although I have been spending a lot of my time in the Apple/OS X/iOS world recently.

I'm a caffeine addict working through a self-paced deaddiction process.

I like photography. You can view my attempts at Wide Open.

I am a traveller through time and space. I have no destination.

In the winter, I like to snowboard, but since I’ve moved from the gorgeous winters of the UP of Michigan to the warm tropics of Chicago, IL, I’ve yet to see any good hills in a 3-hour radius.
